Dave Furfero, a.k.a. furf, is an art school dropout who stumbled upon long-form improvisation during a brief, but meaningful, moment of clarity in 2001. Since that shining moment, he has studied improv extensively at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, Peoples Improv Theater, and Magnet Theater with improv luminaries Armando Diaz, Mick Napier, Joe Bill, Mark Sutton, Mike Myers, TJ & Dave, Ed Herbstman, Pat Shay, Kevin Mullaney, Asaf Ronen, and Jay Rhoderick.
He was a member of the People Improv Theater's first house ensemble, Shark vs. Buffalo; a founding member of groundbreaking erotic improv comedy troupe, Foreplay Unscripted; a driving force behind improv's richest team:
The GoldenPalace.com Ha! Rollers; and he created, produces and hosts
Ampers&nd, New York's only improv duo showcase and the Magnet Theater's longest running show.
He has performed at festivals around the world, including Dublin, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, and Providence.
And he really likes lemonade.
